Preventative Maintenance
WHat's involved?
- A visual inspection to check for debris, electrical wiring condition, and the cleanliness of the generator housing.
- Changing spark plugs, which can become very dirty after a year of use.
- Replacing the air filter, which we will also clean during requested semi-annual visits.
- Changing the oil and replacing the oil filter, which can become clogged if not replaced routinely.
- Cleaning and testing of the battery. We will also install a new battery when appropriate.
- Load testing under full capacity to make sure your generator will run when necessary.
- Updating your generator's controller firmware.
